Life Drawing - Drawing the figure is one of the great traditions
still practiced in the visual arts, and it provides the foundation
of much of what is important in drawing. It is also great fun, challenging
and learnable. In this class we will explore and grow our understanding
and expression of the human form through drawing the nude model.
Techniques of contour and gesture drawing, as well as blocking in
and shading will be covered. Anatomical concepts important to the
artist will be discussed. No experience necessary. Must be 18 or
have written permission from parents.
