Each session has a model scheduled and the poses range from 2 minutes to 45 minutes. No fee. Bring your own art supplies. Please respect the space by picking up after yourself. Membership via Exco is recommended, but not required. Drop-ins allowed, space permitting. The Co-op is run by the Art Alliance, a group of Macalester students who share a love of art and a love of sharing art with the rest of the community.

Life Drawing most Wednesday nights 7:30-9:30pm. Changes to this schedule will be posted on the blog. $8.00. The session consists of five 3-minute poses followed by one or two poses for the session. The art model usually poses for 45 minutes, breaks for 15 minutes, and poses for 45 minutes. Entry to the studio: The ACVR building is locked after 4:00pm. The door will be opened for life drawing participants from 7:00-7:30pm. After 7:30 call 651-278-5128 and someone will come downstairs to open the door for you.

Life Drawing - Drawing the figure is one of the great traditions still practiced in the visual arts, and it provides the foundation of much of what is important in drawing. It is also great fun, challenging and learnable. In this class we will explore and grow our understanding and expression of the human form through drawing the nude art model.
