Starkweather Art Center is inviting all level artists to attend our live model studio sessions every Thursday from 11:00am-2:00pm. Mostly nude art models, sometimes costumed. No pre-registration required. Just come on in! Beginners work alongside experiences artists in a beautiful studio for these uninstructed times. Tables and easels are provided, as well as great lighting. Bring your own preferred medium to work with. Sensitive to the artist budget we are offering these sessions for only $10 each for drop in, as well as a further discount for an 8 week commitment at $70.

The group meets Sunday afternoons once a month for approximately 2 1/2 hours. Sessions are casual and uninstructed with a range of timed poses, from 1-2 minute warmups to 25 minute reclining poses. Jazz music is played in the background, and the atmosphere is generally quiet during poses with conversation during breaks. No photography allowed. Tagging or other identification of the art model with permission only. Sessions are posted as Facebook events two weeks prior on the Figurista page. Cost: $5. Seating/Capacity: 10-13 people. Model: Nude (usually female).
