Founded and run by local artists and photographers, we wanted to create a friendly and casual group for artists to practice their craft and draw/paint from live models. Sessions are typically $15 and run 3 hours in a professional photography studio with 12-20 artists participating. We provide studio rental, lighting, props, and talented models. You just need to bring your own art supplies, a snack/drink if you wish, and your enthusiasm. Excellent venue, amazing models, good lighting, and great atmosphere.

The class is a two hour nude figure drawing session, Thursdays 8:00-10:00pm. The fee is $5—please bring exact change! Bring quick media- we do lots of gesture poses. The first hour is one and two minute poses, followed by a short break, followed by a series of 10, 15, and 20 minute poses. Chairs and desks provided. Bring your own easel if you need one. Show up 10-15 minutes early for a good seat. The atmosphere is casual. This class is run by ASIFA-Atlanta board member Joe Peery.

• Friday Night Life Drawing Studio provides the opportunity to draw from a live art model (gesture/short pose) without instruction. Model's fee is included in tuition. Fee: $80 members ($90 non-members) for 8 weeks, Fridays 7:00-9:30pm.

This avant-garde evening mixes artist receptions, community figure drawing classes and music all while dining. Every Monday 7:30-11:00pm. Event is open to both sketch artist and photographers. Arrive when you want and bring your own supplies. Art models are different each week and are sometimes nude, partially nude, and on occasion costumed. Length of poses are 15 minutes. Drawing takes place in a cafe setting in which the kitchen and bar is open and serving while dj's spin throughout the evening. Cost: $5 for photographers and sketch artists. 18+.

Featuring a different muse each session. We suggest that artists bring newsprint, sketch and drawing pads, portable easels and your choice of drawing materials.
