Drawing groups come and go, and schedules change, so it is wise

Instructed classes include: Figure Drawing -- the ultimate prep
course for high school students considering art school; Dynamic
Figure Drawing for Cartooning & Comic Book Art -- this class
will concentrate on learning to capture the gesture or “action
energy” of the figure; Painting the Figure with Ken Mabrey
-- develop skill in compositions with multiple figures.
Uninstructed Open Figure Studio -- provides access to the model
in a series of short and long poses which artists may draw, paint
and/or sculpt. Fee per session: $8.00 paid to Monitor.

Instructed classes include Figure Painting.
Uninstructed Open Figure Drawing Studio -- Non-instructional. 1st
and 3rd Monday of the month, 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. $5 per
session, pay at the door, cash or check only. No reservations. Whether
you are experienced at drawing the human figure or just beginning,
this open studio is a great way to work from a live model. Located
in the Education Wing, this program offers busy individuals an opportunity
to take time for themselves and be creative. All drawing media is
welcome—bring your choice of pencils, charcoal, pastels, and
paper.
